ModuMath Basic Math and Algebra tests can be imported into your Blackboard Course. Once imported and made available to your learners, the tests will record scores in Blackboard's Gradebook. If you are using a LMS other than Blackboard, please contact us for more information.

Print this page. After obtaining a username and password, download the files and save them to a temporary folder on your computer. After downloading, close your browser to disable the password to prevent others from accessing the files.

Log in to your ModuMath Blackboard course and navigate to the Control Panel. From the Control Panel, select Pool Manager. From Pool Manager, select Import. On Pool Import screen, use the Browse button to select the unit test you saved in Step 1.

After locating the unit test file, click the Submit button to import the file. If imported successfully, you’ll get a “pool import complete” screen and you can click OK. You should then see the test you just imported in the list of pools in the Pool Manager.

Navigate back to Control Panel and select Assignments. From Assignments, click Add Test. From the Add Test screen, click Create, then fill out information about the test. At a minimum you must give the test a name. Click Submit to save the test information. |

The next screen is the Test canvas. From the drop-down list, select From a Question Pool or Assessment and click GO.

The next screen asks you to select the pool you want to use for the test. (Note, there will be just one listed the first time you do this.) Under Question Types, be sure to check All. Then click the Search button.

The next screen will display all of the questions in the pool. Check the Select All box to mark all of the questions for the test. Then click Submit.

You should now see the Test Canvas screen, showing all of the questions. From here you can add, remove, or modify a question. If you have no changes, click OK at the bottom of the Test Canvas screen. Note: by default all questions have a value of 10 points. You can change this by using the modify button next to each question.

Now you are ready to add the test to your assignments. From the Add Test screen, select the test from the list and click Submit. On the confirmation screen, click OK.

The next screen Modify Test, gives you various options for the test. At a minimum, you’ll want to modify the test options to make the test available in Assignments.

If you are using a public computer, delete the files you downloaded to your computer in Step 1. Deleting the files ensures that the questions and answers to the tests will remain secure.
